The village of Borovec has a mini market with bar, a nearby petrol station and a local bus stop which takes you to the beach, or into Varna. You could also take a 10-minute stroll to Galata where you will find restaurants, bars, shops and the beach.
Borovec is the ideal Bulgarian family holiday destination, with secluded beaches and breathtaking views from the Villa, with an abundance of flora and fauna and with an amazing cultural heritage to explore.
Outside
The villa is situated within close proximity to the sea, which makes it a popular choice. Alternatively you can relax in our private 10 x 4m in ground heated swimming pool. With the children close by in their own 2 x 3m swimming pool, all set in a mature landscaped south facing garden. Or relax on the sun beds within the patio area, with a chilled glass of wine, while the aroma of the barbeque tempts your taste buds, and let the day run into the night watching the sun fade into the hills surrounded by the stars, and enjoy a romantic evening meal in the twinkle of garden fairy lights.
Coast/Beach
A short walk in to Galata where you will find one of the many secluded breathtaking beaches with soft white sand and less salty and warmer water then the Mediterranean. The beaches all retain there serene natural beauty, some of the larger less secluded beaches have nice restaurants, bars,childrens play areas and many other facilities including diving, wind / water surfing, and jet skis.
Golf
Local Golf range with sea views within 5 minutes by car or less then 10 minutes by bus from the villa. Local bus service every 10 minutes from the villa. This regular bus service will take you to the golf range, beach, and local restaurants.
If you like to play 5* golf then less then one hours drive along the coastal road is the prestigious Five star Thracian Cliffs golf course, if Golfing is your scene then be prepared for the Wow factor.
Car hire is recommended but not essential. the villa is less then 25 minute drive from Varna airport.
Distances
Varna City centre is only a short 10 minute bus ride away where you will find ample shopping facilities, bars, beach and restaurants. other resorts St Konstantine, Albena, Golden Sands, Balchik. and the famous Botanic Gardens are all within 15-45 mins taxis or bus journey. We have a full selection of brochures at the villa informing you what is available at these resorts. If you like fishing then dont forget your fishing equipment as Bulgaria is well renowned for its relaxing tranquil fishing.
Further details
Varna in close proximity to the villa is great for sight seeing and for visiting cultural attractions like the Archaeological museum, Art Galleries, Varna Monastery. There is plenty of fish restaurants over looking the bay.
Children's attraction include Aqua park, Dolphinarium, Zoo, Fun Fair, Go Kart racing, boating lake, Fishing, parks, especially the Sea Gardens. There are plenty of shops, chemists, banks, cash machines and Post offices. Night clubs are in abundance in Varna City Centre and Golden Sands.
